Health Ministry confirms two Omicron infections, calls for massive turnout for Pfizer Marathon

The Ministry of Health confirmed on Saturday that “both positive cases that were subjected to genomic sequencing are already infected with Omicron,” noting that “they came from Africa, but are currently in home isolation and show minor symptoms.”

It also stated that this should motivate citizens and residents to follow all COVID-19 preventive measures without compromise, and “to attend heavily the ongoing Pfizer marathon and without any hesitation on December 11 and 12, in order to increase the community safety.”
