Jumblatt delivers message to France on importance of maintaining stability in Lebanon

National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt said on Monday that he has delivered a message to France stipulating the importance of maintaining stability in Lebanon via dialogue, and preventing the spillover of Syria’s violence into the country.

Following his meeting with French president Francois Hollande in Paris, Jumblatt said: “Those who think that one group can eliminate the other during Lebanon’s upcoming parliamentary elections are mistaken.”

For his part, French President Francois Hollande stressed on the importance of holding the parliamentary elections on due time.
