Arsal residents place a wreath of flowers on Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Mathaf

A delegation of Arsal and Baalbeck residents visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Mathaf and placed a wreath of flowers to express solidarity with the Lebanese Army.

The delegation stressed that all attempts to incite strife between the Arsal resident and the LAF have failed.

This move comes after an army patrol was attacked by gunmen in the Bekaa border town of Arsal on Februrary 1st 2013.

Major Pierre Bachaalany and Adjutant Ibrahim Zahraman were killed in the assault.
