Rai urges expatriates to invest in Patriarchate’s lands

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai assured that he will maintain the Patriarchate’s historical line, calling on expatriates to invest in lands owned by the Patriarchate.

“The dispute over Christian lands in the predominantly Shiite town of Lassa-Jbeil was exaggerated on both political and sectarian levels”, Rai said addressing Christian parties and Lebanese associations in the city of Los Angeles, California.

On the other hand, Rai called on the Lebanese officials to be real statesmen and sit at the dialogue table.

Prior to his statement, Rai led a mass at the Lady of Lebanon church in Los Angeles.
