Interior Minister sounds alarm on Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The Lebanese government and UNDP launched the "Lebanese Host Community Support Program" on Thursday aiming to raise funds for refugees and lessen the burden on Lebanese host communities.
In this context, Interior Minister Marwan Charbel declared on Thursday that the number of Syrians residing in Lebanon exceeded one million.
For his part, Social Affairs minister Wael Abou Faour asserted that the Syrian and Palestinian displacement forms a major challenge for Lebanon.
