Khazen to LBC: Saydet el jabal meeting’s timing suspicious

Change and Reform bloc MP Farid Khazen said that what is happening in the Arab world is required and was expected to happen someday, wondering: “What direction will these events take?”

Khazen told “Nharkom Said” that “Saydet el Jabal” meeting’s timing and goals raise many questions, adding that it will lead to more alignments within the Christian community in the face of Bkerke.

“The Church’s principles remained unchanged and Patriarch Rai did not interfere in the Arab spring; all he did was voice legitimate concerns over the situation of the Christians”, Khazen added.
