Ghattas Khoury to LBCI: Hariri urged Future bloc to facilitate the new cabinet's formation

Former MP Ghattas Khoury asserted on Friday that the National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt's "shifting from side to side" has had significant political repercussions on Lebanon, mainly the annulment of the so called golden formula: "The people, the army and the resistance".

Khoury stressed that the Future bloc's nomination of MP Tamam Salam for premiership is not a "challenge for the March 8 alliance", noting that MP Saad Hariri urged the Future bloc to facilitate the formation of a new cabinet.

Khoury told Nharkom Said via LBCI that MP Saad Hariri is adamant on holding the upcoming parliamentary elections on their due time, and to reach a new electoral draft law to avoid the extension of the current parliament's mandate.
