REPORT: Mikati calls for speeding up the formation of the cabinet

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati called for speeding up the formation of the cabinet adding that the memorandum he issued on Friday that underlines the necessity of complying with Constitution provisions following the cabinet's resignation was not directed to one specific political category.           

Following a meeting held in Ain el-Tineh with Speaker Nabih Berri, Mikati said that he discussed with the Speaker Berri latest developments in the country as well as the importance of reaching an electoral law that ensures the representation of all Lebanese parties.
