Israeli army says strikes on Iranian weapons production intensified, ground operations in Lebanon expanded

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya confirmed that Israel has intensified strikes against Iranian military production industries over the past week.

She said that more than 1,000 production sites across Iran had been targeted.

She added that Israel is “changing the reality in south Lebanon” with the aim of achieving long-term security for residents of northern Israel and the Israeli state.

She also noted that forces from the 162nd Division have joined troops on the ground as part of an expansion of ground operations.
