Israeli army reports raids on alleged Hezbollah sites in south Lebanon, says weapons found

The Israeli military said its ground operations in southern Lebanon are ongoing, with troops targeting Hezbollah infrastructure as part of what it described as a “focused” campaign.

In a statement posted on X, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said forces from the 36th Division continue intensive ground activity aimed at dismantling Hezbollah positions in the south.

He said Israeli troops raided several Hezbollah military buildings and discovered large quantities of weapons.

Adraee also claimed that units from the 7th Brigade killed more than ten Hezbollah fighters, whom Israel said “posed an immediate threat” to its forces.

He noted that Golani Brigade troops uncovered a building used as a gathering point for Hezbollah members, where they found additional weapons allegedly intended for use in planned attacks against Israeli forces and the state of Israel.
