Lebanon receives 4,000 tons of aid as response continues, minister says

Lebanon’s Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed said the humanitarian response remains ongoing, with shelters operating at the same pace and services continuing to be provided daily, including the availability of food across all centers.

Speaking at a news conference, Sayed said total aid has reached $248 million to date through the United Nations and support from 33 countries. She added that 20 aid shipments have arrived in Lebanon by land, air, and sea, carrying a total of 4,000 tons of supplies.

She renewed a call for families on the roads to head to designated shelters.
