Caretaker Minister Charbel meets with Ukrainian ambassador Koval

Caretaker Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel met on Friday with Ukrainian ambassador to Lebanon Vladimir Koval.

Discussions featured high on issues of common interest, mainly the Ukrainian-Lebanese agreement on exchanging expertise to address cross-border crimes.

Discussions also tackled the kidnapping of 4 women in Lebanon, among them one Ukrainian national.

In this regard, Caretaker Minister Charbel asserted that the security apparatus is following up the issue and is exerting all possible efforts to return the abductees to their families.

Four foreign women were kidnapped on May 23, from a night club in the Zahle region by men from the Houjeiry family.
