Jumblatt: To discuss political assassination instead of electoral law

The head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt said that the Progressive Socialist Party rejects all trials to make of Lebanon a tool to undermine security issues in Syria.

Jumblatt stressed on the right of the Syrian activists to enter Lebanon as political refugee, calling on the government to reveal the truth on the disappearance of the 13 Syrian citizens from the Jassem, Shebli and the Aissami families.

“Are we back to the old era where the terror regime was ruling in Lebanon, threatening the citizens and killing innocent such as Samir Kassir, Ramzi Irani and Butros Khawand?”, Jumblatt was quoted as saying.

“How does the Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel know that a wave of political assassination will hit Lebanon soon and I believe we should discuss that instead of the electoral law?”
