Zebari rules our military intervention in Syria

Iraqi foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari ruled out on Monday any form of foreign military intervention in Syria at the time being. However, he warned of the dangers of a civil war, calling for an immediate implementation of the Arab initiative on Syria.

Zebari denied that Iraqi armed group entered Syria to back the Assad’s regime’s crackdown on demonstrators.

The Iraqi minister said that the Arab revolutions are real popular revolutions triggered by the marginalization felt by the region’s populations.
