Crisis in Syria… once again at the core of Arab ministerial meetings in Cairo

The Arab foreign ministers’ meeting started in Cairo to discuss the crisis in Syria, in the presence of 14 ministers and 4 delegates.     

The meeting tackles the steps that must be taken to deal with the crisis in Syria, in light of the report prepared by the Arab Ministerial Committee concerned with the Syrian crisis in a closed-meeting held Friday evening in Cairo.     

Syrian foreign minister Walid Moallem attended neither the closed-session that preceded this meeting nor the previous ministerial meeting held in November 2nd.      

Syria is represented at the meeting by its ambassador to the Arab League Youssef Ahmad.
