Iman Traboulsi: The Red Cross is ready to assist in hostage release

Spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross, Iman Traboulsi, explained that the committee is engaged in dialogue with all parties involved in the conflict, emphasizing the necessity of releasing hostages.

In an interview on LBCI's "Nharkom Said" TV show,  she highlighted the Red Cross' readiness to facilitate communication and assistance during the release process, as it participated a few days ago when two hostages were released.

Traboulsi called for the need to work on a plan to bring aid sustainably into Gaza, noting that what entered is "relatively small" compared to the worsening situation.

She also called for creating security guarantees for the distributors of this aid at home.

"Health institutions need fuel, and not giving this material threatens the total shutdown of the health sector," she said.
