Israel's Ben Gurion Airport set to reopen airspace in very limited format on Monday

Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, the country's main international gateway near Tel Aviv, said Israeli airspace was set to reopen as early as Monday evening for civilian flights in an "extremely limited format".

Starting on Tuesday, "flight operations will gradually expand depending on the security situation" and that it is expected that only Israeli carriers will operate flights.

Israel's airspace was closed on Saturday at the start of U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have triggered retaliatory missile barrages from Iran against Israel.
