Outrageous! Siberian Tiger Cubs For Sale In Lebanon

It's official! Lebanon has finally become the "animal hell". Tortured, abandoned, bought and sold; our furry friends don't stand a chance in a society that justifies violence on all levels.

We stumbled upon another sad animal story today while on BETA's Facebook page. A friend and animal rights supporter, Lynn Bizri had posted a screenshot of a certain Firas Hassanein trying to sell Siberian Tigers on El Mazad, a Facebook page with questionable practices. 

We stand before two possibilities. This may be a prank and Firas is just trying to get phone calls from the ladies, or he is indeed selling tiger cubs which raises important questions: How did he get them? Siberian tigers are an endangered species so were they trafficked into Lebanon? And who will take responsibility? I'll let sponge bob answer that...



But if it's a prank, and I sincerely hope it is... Bad Joke Firas.

In both cases we are still doing something about it. Whether it's a case of animal trafficking or irresponsible use of social media, we invite you to help us raise awareness. Let's do something about this.
