REPORT: Abou Fadl al-Abbas brigade, from Syria to Iraq

The Abou Fadl al-Abbas brigade is a mainly Shiite armed group which operates throughout Syria and Iraq.

The group rose in prominence in reaction to the desecration of various Shiite shrines, heritage sites and place of worship.

This report will shed light on the brigade and its military involvement in Syria and Iraq.
