Residents of Majdal Anjar gathered and raised banners expressing their stance against the proposal presented by Minister Akram Chehayeb to set up a landfill on the eastern mountain range in the region of Wadi Harir.
The landfill proposed in the plan extends across four estates, two privately owned, one owned by the municipality of Majdal Anjar and another owned by the residents of the said town.
