REPORT: Woman suffers abuse at the hand of her husband after asking for divorce

Rim, an Arabic language school teacher, was mercilessly beaten by her husband after having asked him for a divorce to end a marriage and a life of abuse now stretching into its ninth year.

This report will examine the case of Rim who was rushed to a local hospital and will shed light on the need to protect women in Lebanon from domestic violence.
