A violent brawl erupted on Sunday night during a concert by the Lebanese popular pop singer Fares Karam in western Sydney, forcing the police to intervene to break up the fight.
The clash, which started at The Bellevue Function Center in Bankstown, escalated and spilled into the venue’s car park.
According to an eye witness, who requested not to be identified, some of the clients were left bloodied in the fight, which he said was fueled by alcohol and growing local tensions.
A police spokesperson said that no one was arrested or severely injured in the fight, adding that some of the people involved fled after dispersing the clash.
