Macron, Netanyahu discuss Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron whereby he expressed Israel's readiness to provide humanitarian aid to Lebanon, affirming that it should be fully sent directly to the Lebanese citizens.

During the phone call between Macron and Netanyahu, the Israeli premier emphasized that in order to avoid similar tragedies, “explosives and missiles that were stored by Hezbollah must be removed from all inhabited areas in Lebanon.”

He added that if Hezbollah “believes that it could solve the Lebanese crisis by creating a crisis with Israel, this would be a big mistake.”
