Bahraini court sentences 7 Shiite men to 15 years in prison

A Bahraini judicial source said on Tuesday that a court sentenced 7 Shiite men to 15 years in prison for attempting to murder a police officer in August 2012.

The judicial source added that an eight Shiite suspect was sentenced to 3 years in prison, and mentioned that 2 others were found not guilty.

The source also said that the same group was accused of setting a police station ablaze in the Shiite village of Sitra.
