G20 leaders attend luxurious banquet at the “Russian Versailles”

Following a day of discussions at Russia’s G20 summit, world leaders attended a luxurious banquet hosted by President Vladimir Putin at the Peterhof Palace in St Petersburg; away from Syria’s on the field realities.                 

The Independent newspaper mentioned that special dishes, decorated with flags of the 20 nations that make the group, were prepared for the dinner at the 'Russian Versailles'.             

In the same regard, the Daily Mail stated that women dressed in Marie Antoinette costumes greeted the US President Barack Obama, and met with the most powerful men and women.
