Syrian protesters hold pro-Assad demonstration in Damascus
Around 300 Syrian protesters demonstrated on Sunday in Damascus to call on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to run for a third presidential term and to voice their support for the army battling against opposition militants.        

The protesters also danced, chanted pro-Assad slogans and hoisted Syrian flags as well as photos of the Syrian president in Al-Sabe Bahrat square in Damascus.
