French unions demonstrate against austerity measures
             
Five French unions called on Friday employees, retirees and the unemployed people to demonstrate on November 14 as part of a European day against austerity and for actions of solidarity with countries facing major difficulties.                     

In a joint statement, the 5 unions expressed their support to the calls of the European Trade Union Confederation and condemned the austerity measures that lead to worsening imbalances in the countries.                 

The Unions participating in the demonstration are the General Labor Federation, the French Federation of Democratic Work, the Federal Trade Union, and the National Federation of Independent Trade Unions.
