Syrian security forces raid homes and arrest citizens
Syrian security forces continued raiding homes and arresting citizens in a number of Syrian cities. Military and security forces entered the city of Al Zabadani and set check points in the streets looking for fugitives.

The Human Rights Observatory said that around 19 people were arrested in the city of Al Damir in Damascus countryside. Syrian security forces raided several homes and launched wide operations to arrest citizens in the village of Al Dar north-west Homes and in Homes countryside amid random gunshots.

In Deir al- Zour, security forces opened fire on mourners during the funeral ceremony of the young activist Ziad Al Abeidi whose funeral turned into a demonstration that included 7,000 protesters calling for toppling the regime.

All stores, except for bakeries, pharmacies and a few grocery stores, in the city of Dael, in Daraa countryside are closed for the day to protest against the crackdown.
