Sudan to open Adre border crossing for three months to facilitate aid

Sudan's sovereign council said on Thursday it would open the Adre border crossing for three months to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to citizens affected by a 15-month-long civil war.

The government halted aid deliveries through the border crossing in February, saying it was being used by the rival RSF faction to move weapons.
