Erekat urges Quartet to pin Israel as the obstructers of peace

Senior Palestinian Negotiator Saeb Erekat appealed to the International Quartet on the Middle-East Peace Process on Monday to expressly declare which of the parties is responsible for obstructing the peace process.

Erekat told AFP that “Israel keeps building settlement and Judaizing Jerusalem and does not adhere to the peace process principles”, adding that Israel obstructs any possible peace process in the region due to its destructive policies that thwart any international effort to enliven the peace process.”

Erekat highlighted the commitment of the Palestinian side to all international principles as well as the content of the roadmap.
