Minister of Tourism accuses Health Minister of harming tourism sector

Minister of Tourism Michel Pharaon stressed on Thursday the need to proceed with the monitoring process of Lebanese restaurants and organizations and to hold accountable the traders who sell meat to restaurants.

The minister also questioned some samples taken from well-known organizations in terms of public hygiene standards, accusing Health Minister Wael Abou Faour of harming the tourism sector.

Abou Faour held on Thursday a press conference whereby he unveiled a new list of violating restaurants and supermarkets.
