FSA's al-Wawi to LBCI: Rockets incident is a warning to Hezbollah
The Free Syrian Army Secretary Captain Ammar al-Wawi called on Sunday on the Lebanese government to put an end to Hezbollah’s activities in Syria, noting that, otherwise, the fires raging in Syria will reach Lebanon.
In a statement to LBCI, al-Wawi stressed that the Syrian people will not stand idly by when Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria continues, pointing out that “one Syrian blood drop is equal to Hezbollah and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”
The FSA official threatened that if the Lebanese government fails to halt Hezbollah’s actions, severe repercussions will hit Beirut, Tripoli and Beirut International Airport, pointing out that Beirut’s airport has become a route for the Iranian airline which transports weapons to Syria.
However, al-Wawi said that Lebanon cannot dissociate itself from the events in Syria, stating that the Lebanese people of different affiliations will not allow Hezbollah to keep on interfering in Syria, leading to dangerous consequences, similar to
today’s incident
.
“We will have further actions over the upcoming days, and this is a warning to Hezbollah and the Lebanese government which must immediately take action,” he added.
