REPORT: Saturday, Sunday to witness lowest temperatures down to 10 below zero

      
Rain is falling across the Lebanese territories as snow started to fall at an altitude of 400 meters in some areas.       

Alexa storm continues to hit Lebanon for the fourth consecutive day but with less intensity and a significant drop in temperatures after snow fell at a low altitude overnight.               

The meteorological department of the Civil Aviation Authority expected that Saturday's weather will be partly cloudy to little cloudy with low temperatures.         

In this regard, the Director General of Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute Michel Afram said the storm will start to subside as of tomorrow afternoon, noting that a massive wave of ice will start afterwards.                        

This as, a number of schools did not abide by the decision of caretaker Education Minister Hassan Diab to close private and public schools for the third consecutive day.
