REPORT: Army dismantles 100 KG bomb in Lebanon's Arsal

The Army Command said on Thursday that army units found a suspicious Kia vehicle with a Syrian numbeer plate parked on the roadside in Ain al-Shaaeb -Arsal, a northeastern border town.

"An army unit cordoned off the area and searched the vehicle," the Army Command said in a statement, noting that the car contained 100 KG of explosive material packed inside metal plates.

Accordingly, the military expert rushed to the area and dismantled the bomb, the statement said, adding that an investigation was launched in this regard.
