Souaid to LBCI: Presence of Syrian National Council at BIEL annoyed Nasrallah

The coordinator of March 14 General Secretariat said that he is not the spokesperson for the Syrian National Council, adding that what really annoyed Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is not the fact that he read the council’s letter at the BIEL festival, but the fact that the council was present. Souaid said that Nasrallah would have preferred if the March 14 festival was similar to the previous festivals.      

Souaid told Nharkom Said that it is normal for March 14 to take a stance against the Syrian regime, adding that the killing machine driven by President Assad is the same machine that was moving in Lebanon.     

Souaid said that Nasrallah seemed tense in his last speech, voicing his surprise at his claims to be the Arab Spring’s father at a time when he is claiming that this “spring” is part of a plot.      

Souaid denied Nasrallah’s accusations that March 14 is financing the Syrian opposition and escalating violence in Syria. “These accusations are a cover-up for his involvement in Syria’s incidents”, he said.
