Youssef to LBCI: We will withdraw from session if former credits are not legalized

Future bloc MP Ghazi Youssef stressed that he will withdraw from the legislative session today in case all credits spent by former governments will not be legalized.

“As this cabinet is seeking to legalize its own credits, it is obligated to legalize not only the $11 billion, but also the $16 billion spent in 2010 by the former cabinet”, Youssef told LBCI prior to the parliamentary session on Thursday.

Youssef said that the money spent, rather than what will be spent should be legalized, underscoring his rejection of what he described as “partial legalization”. On another note, Youssef said that the price of red diesel oil should be 300 LBP less than that of green diesel oil.
