US proposal to vet Lebanese army units rejected during Washington talks, LBCI reports

During military negotiations held in Washington, a proposal was raised to subject Lebanese army units deploying in areas from which Israel would withdraw to U.S. training and vetting, LBCI reported.

According to LBCI sources, the idea was firmly rejected by the Lebanese delegation during the talks.
