REPORT: Activists rally outside Beirut's Justice Palace
We Want Accountability activists rallied on Tuesday outside Beirut's Justice Palace to protest the corruption inside the state’s institutions as a delegation met with Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim.

The activists said that the government supervisory institutions need to be more effective.

A statement read by one of the activists called on the supervisory bodies to “supervise the spending of state money, press charges against the corrupt, monitor and improve public institutions, and refer those charged with embezzlement to the competent courts.”

They also called for a sit-in next Thursday in the Riyad al-Soleh Square.
