Defense Minister Leaves for Russia, expected to voice army's needs at Security Conference

A Lebanese delegation headed by Defense Minister MP Samir Mokbel left for Russia on Tuesday to take part in the International Security Conference, where a series of meetings will take place.

Prior to his leaving Mokbel said that in his speech at the conference he will voice the Lebanese army’s needs to fight terrorism,

"Lebanon lies in the middle of the crisis and by facing terrorism the army will be serving Lebanon, the region and European countries", he added

On promises to aid the Lebanese army the Minister said he will try his best to take keen promises, as all Lebanon needs is a real implementation of promises on the ground.
