Saudi cabinet slams violence in Syria, urges Yemenis to stand by their president
The Saudi cabinet that convened under the chairmanship of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz on Monday slammed the “dangerous escalation of violence by the Syrian regime, violating U.N.-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan’s peace plan”. The cabinet also urged Yemenis to stand by the consensual president Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.        

According to the Saudi news agency, Information Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz Khoja said in a statement that the cabinet regretted the “dangerous violent acts perpetrated by the Syrian regime in many Syrian towns and cities”.
