A Palestinian man died of his wounds on Tuesday after an unknown assailant opened fire at him in the southern Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el-Helweh.
Ali al-Bahti was shot dead by an unknown gunman at a coffee shop in the camp’s Tahtani Street.
Tensions rose and gunfire was heard from the camp following the attack as shops closed in the Tahtani Street.
