Shebaa, al-Arkoub residents hold protest over Israeli work in occupied farms

Israeli bulldozers, accompanied by a heavy deployment of Israeli soldiers, resumed on Monday construction of a route in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

Consequently, residents of Shebaa and al-Arkoub towns staged a sit-in, calling for the halt of the construction.

The demonstrators hoisted Lebanese flags and banners of protest.

Israeli forces have been excavating and constructing a road between the Blue Line, which is the internationally recognized border, and Israel’s so-called “technical fence,” south of the divide.
