Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Emile Rahme stressed Monday that President Michel Aoun will never violate the constitution, noting that the situation in Lebanon is exceptional and requires exceptional measures, such as a popular referendum proposed by Aoun in order to choose the best electoral law.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Rahme said that it will be impossible to reach an electoral law if every party will continue to evaluate each proposal depending on its own gain.
