Minister Bassil says no to extension, yes to new vote law
Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said on Friday that work is currently ongoing to reach a new vote law for all the Lebanese which would guarantees their proper representation.
“The sole key to restoring the rights of the Lebanese people lies in the election law,” Bassil said during the annual ceremony of Casino du Liban Management and Gaming event.

He also voiced “No to the extension of the parliament’s mandate and Yes for a new poll law.”
