Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Lebanese Forces deputy chief MP George Adwan held a meeting on Thuesday at the grand Sewrail in the presence of PM adviser Nader Hariri, where they discussed the issue of the electoral law.
During the meeting, they stressed the need to prevent vacuum, noting that work towards a new vote law is ongoing by leaps and bounds.
MP Adwan had met with Ministers Michel Faraon and Tarek al-Khatib, as well as with a delegation from the Islamic Group.
He headed afterwards to the Foreign Ministry to meet with Minister Gebran Bassil.
