Captagon pills exported from Lebanon seized in France
French customs officials said on Tuesday that they seized 135 kilograms of Captagon pills, dubbed the "jihadists' drug", at the Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport this year, a first for France.
 
The customs agency issued a statement whereby it said that "It is the first time that this drug has been seized in France."
 
Customs officials at Charles de Gaulle discovered 350,000 Captagon pills weighing 70 kilograms on January 4 concealed among industrial molds exported from Lebanon and seemingly heading for the Czech Republic.
 
The German and Czech authorities launched an investigation into the incident and it showed that “the real destination was Saudi Arabia, by passing through Turkey", the customs said.
 
Another 67 kilograms of this drug were seized at the airport last February, hidden in steel molds.
