Karadeniz says power ships in Lebanon are 20 to 25% cheaper than power provided from Syria

The CEO of Karadeniz Holding, Orhan Remzi Karadeniz, the company owning the power ships in Lebanon, stressed that these ships operating in Zouk and Jiyeh are cheaper by 20 to 25% than power provided from Syria.

In a press conference he held in Istanbul to respond to “false claims,” he noted that the electricity generated by the ships is cheaper from the power of private generators by USD 3.5 billion for every 800 megawatts over a period of 5 years.

He added that the power ships are among the cheapest means of power supply in Lebanon.
