Reconciliation meeting between al-Maqdah and al-Lino in Ain al-Hilweh

A reconciliation meeting was held on Monday between former commander of General Headquarter of Fatah Movement in Lebanon, Major Mounir al-Maqdah and former head of the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Armed Struggle Force in Lebanon Brig. Gen. Mahmoud Issa, known as al-Lino. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the Palestinian National Security in Ain al-Hilweh camp, under the auspices of the commander of the Palestinian National Security Forces in Lebanon Brig. Gen. Sobhi Abu Arab and a number of military units’ leaders in the Fatah movement as well as current and former Fatah officials.

While al-Maqdah and al-Lino preferred not to speak to the media about the meeting, Gen. Abu Arab said: “There is no dispute, only a misunderstanding that just ended and everyone will work for the interest of our people in the camp”.
