ISF warns against calling back numbers starting with 0079
The Internal Security Forces said on Thursday some social media platforms, especially Whatsapp, have reported that some International phone numbers starting with 0079 and other codes pose a real threat to Lebanese cellular users.
The ISF warned against answering the calls, saying that the caller can penetrate the phone and steal information and pictures.
The ISF also noted that the receiver of such calls, if he chooses to call back, would incur elevated costs.
