Patriarch Rai meets with former Minister Rifi in Bkerke

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai received on Thursday former Minister Achraf Rifi in Bkerke.

Following the meeting, Rifi said that “the corruption in the country has reached an unacceptable level.”

“The Lebanese state solely is entitled to fight corruption that has become systematic and significant," he added.

On another note, Rifi stressed the importance of holding the parliamentary elections on their due times.
